Steve Tacinelli, CPA, CMA®, CVA®, Partner

Steve Tacinelli was born in Bethesda, Maryland, but became a “Floridian” in 1978 when his father retired from the military. He attended Seabreeze High School and later, Florida State University. Steve holds degrees in Criminology and Accounting from FSU. After working six years as a staff accountant and controller for two local businesses, Steve was hired by Holland Financial in 2008. His talents were quickly realized, and he was promoted to the positions of Controller and, later, Vice President of Tax Services. READ MORE
Garrett Klayer, CPA, MBA, Partner
Garrett graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and received a Master of Business Administration from Stetson University. He has received several certifications over his 30+ year career. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, he has received certifications including Sales & Use as a Tax Auditor, an Excise Tax Auditor as well as a Collaborative Divorce Financial Neutral Certification, just to name a few.
As a lifelong local to the Ormond Beach area, Garrett has served on several Not-for-Profit Boards, worked with the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce, was on the Finance Committee at the Ormond Beach YMCA and was a member of the Museum of Arts & Sciences Board of Trustees for several years.
Kim Gillam, Enrolled Agent, Tax & Accounting Manager
Originally from upstate New York, Kim relocated to Florida in 1982 to escape the cold! She has a degree in accounting and went on to earn the designation of Enrolled Agent in 2004.
Kim likes to travel and especially enjoys visiting lighthouses throughout the country. A football fan, her goal is to see all the National Football League teams play in their home stadiums (she’s already 1/3 of the way there!). Her favorite team is the Buccaneers.
Family is important to Kim. She is the proud mother of three children, and she is the doting grandmother to a grade-school-aged grandson.

Micah Williams, Enrolled Agent, Tax & Accounting Manager
Micah Williams was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and lived there until his move to New Smyrna Beach. He attended the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minor in Health Care Management.
When you ask Micah his favorite things about working at Holland Tacinelli, he says they are, “meeting with new clients and the beginning of each tax season.” Micah likes to learn about stocks and investing in his spare time, and enjoys sports, especially playing golf. The beach is one of his favorite places to be – when his work schedule permits! Micah loves everything about his Florida lifestyle, but misses his dog, Teddi, who he had to leave with family in Pittsburgh.
Anita Henderson, Staff Accountant
Anita was born in Greenville, South Carolina, but her family moved to Georgia when she was just a toddler. She began her career in 1994 as a bookkeeper in Atlanta, and later worked as an accounts payable manager. After visiting Daytona Beach, she and her family fell in love with the area and decided to move to Volusia County in 2012. Anita’s first job here was as a bookkeeper for Dennis L. Conley, CPA – the business Holland, Tacinelli, CPAs, acquired in 2021. After several months at the Daytona Beach office location, Anita, Kim and Ely transitioned to the beautiful Holland Financial building in Ormond Beach.
Anita is married with two adult daughters. Her oldest child is a data analyst in Atlanta and her youngest is an ESE teacher at Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando. In her spare time, Anita enjoys reading, shopping, the beach, and spending time with her family and her rescue dog, Piper.
Ely Peguero, Trust Coordinator
Ely was born in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. She studied Accounting at the Economics and Social Sciences Facility of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo. In 2011, she embarked on a life-changing journey when she left her homeland and relocated to Florida.
You can always talk to Ely about the latest in technology and finance, those are her top two favorite topics! When not at Holland, Tacinelli & Klayer, she cherishes each moment spent with her husband and young daughter. For fresh air and added fun, Ely enjoys bicycling and the thrill of sport-motorcycling.
Sami Huda, Enrolled Agent, Accountant
Having lived his whole life in Ormond Beach, Sami says there is no place he would rather be. He loves the Florida sunshine and can’t even imagine living in a cold-weather climate!
A graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Central Florida, Sami is committed to lifelong learning. His goals are set high. He has recently earned the Enrolled Agent (EA) designation and would like to both earn the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and complete his master’s degree in the next few years.
When asked what he likes most about working as an accountant at Holland, Tacinelli & Klayer, Sami says that he loves the variety of clients and the inevitable “twists and turns” in the process that provide for greater learning opportunities. There is always a challenge to look forward to and he embraces the chance to continue to grow within the Holland organization.
JoEllen Ambuehl, Tax Accountant
JoEllen was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1988, she received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Butler University. (Go Dawgs!) She is proud to say she has worked for one of the Big Four Accounting Firms, Ernst & Young LLP. She has over 30 years of experience in tax, auditing, and accounting services.
JoEllen lives in Daytona Beach with her husband Dave and son Austin. Her favorite pastimes include playing tennis with Austin and spending time with her two rottweilers. JoEllen dreams of retiring, someday, in Key West!

Originally from North Dakota, Aimee is a dedicated accounting professional with over eight years of experience in the field. After earning a Business Administration degree from Daytona State College, she began her career as a bookkeeper before discovering a passion for tax laws and client representation. This led to her pursuit to become an Enrolled Agent (EA).
When not working, Aimee enjoys spending quality time with her dogs, playing pickleball, practicing yoga, attending concerts with friends, and traveling with her husband.
